Want a chance to get an article published?
We’re looking for talented students and recent graduates to contribute to our blog. If you’ve got a fresh take on an old problem, want to share tips with other young job-hunters, and to prove you’ve got the goods as a writer, now’s the time to seize the moment!
What we want
Everyone follows a different path through university and into work, so we want to hear what worked for you. How do you work the room at university networking events? Did you choose your course because you thought it would help you get employed? If you could redo your final year, is there anything you’d have done differently?
We’re also interested in hearing your perspectives on news that affects students and graduates, and how you think things like the gender pay gap or the rise of technology impact your career prospects.
We’re not after something flat and generic; sure, it’s got to be professional, but don’t be afraid to add some fun and give us your own spin on things.
What to do
If you want to get involved, apply to the role here. If you’re successful, we’ll get in touch within 2 weeks and ask you send us a pitch for an article: a title, a brief outline of the points you’d include, and a couple of sentences telling us why you think it’s right for our blog. If we love your idea, we’ll help you get it shipshape and ready for publication.
In return, any articles you write will be attributed to you, and you can include a short bio with links to your social media profiles if you want. We’ll also share your article with our followers on social media, and happily give you feedback and advice, about your article and your career.
