Job Summary:

The Commercial Manager (Part-Time and Full-Time considered), reporting directly to the club Board, will play a crucial role in driving the commercial success of our football team. This dynamic and engaging position demands a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in sales and strong networking capabilities. The primary responsibilities include generating commercial revenue through sponsorship, advertisement, and building solid relationships while contributing to the club's long-term strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Sales: Develop and execute strategies to boost commercial revenue through sponsorship deals, advertising partnerships, and other income-generating opportunities.

Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing sponsors, partners, and potential clients. This includes regular communication, providing excellent customer service, and identifying growth opportunities.
Networking: Leverage your network and contacts to identify new commercial opportunities, both locally and regionally.

Sales Expertise: Apply your proven experience in sales to meet and exceed revenue targets. Utilise your knowledge of sales techniques and market trends to drive growth.

Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Board and key stakeholders to align commercial activities with the club's short-term and long-term goals. Contribute to the development and execution of the club's overall business strategy.
Community Engagement: Support and strengthen the club's community links and projects, demonstrating a commitment to the local community and the club's social responsibility.

Collaboration: Work seamlessly with other departments within the football club, including marketing, events, and operations, to ensure the successful implementation of commercial initiatives.
Independence: Manage your tasks independently and efficiently, taking initiative in identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
