The Role

You will join the Ad ops/Rev Ops team primarily, however, in addition to supporting this team, you will also support other areas across the business including Finance, Marketing, and sales
Overall responsibility for the role will be to manage all of the data analytics for the organisation, especially within commercial advertising areas, and to then output these into tangible dashboards regularly
You will help to manage and process the commercial business billing and invoice financing procedures
The main objectives will be to decipher commercial data in order to build stories, facts, commercial ideation, look for errors, and produce ad hoc reports
You will have access to all systems which produce data, and you will output these into dashboards and databases regularly
You will develop frameworks for problem solving
Crafting of unique insights from analysis and synthesis of data, be able to think broadly and strategically around problems
Develop and present custom insightful analyses, reports and dynamic dashboards for regular and precise reporting to senior stakeholders
Streamline the current reporting process & scale deployment with respective local teams and drive automation in reporting on an ongoing basis
Own specification and delivery of analytical products and services
Responsible for data quality and integrity
Maintain data sources and models up to date
Documentation relating to existing processes and suggestions for improving those processes
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities efficiently

The ideal candidate

Commercial advertising/Media knowledge
History of working in marketing, advertising or Media
You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to learn new tech systems and teach other team members
Diligent with a strong attention to detail
Ability to clearly articulate an operations & technology narrative in client- friendly terms
Self starter who can work well within a team, and independently
Strong background in mathematics, statistics or data modelling
Data engineering & mining skills
Data analysis, cleansing and queries in ETL and SQL & Trifect
Good working experience of various data visualisation tools
Data analytics experience (data analysis, data management)
Knowledge of tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio/Google analytics etc
You ideally have experience working with digital media data sources and platforms such as Google and Meta etc
Strong numerical skills with advanced skills in Excel/Google sheets
Be able to manipulate data and work with pivot tables to analyse large numbers
A logical thinker, with the ability to simplify and streamline complicated processes to achieve accurate and tangible results
Ability to deliver results on time and focus on outcome
Able to problem-solve complex and at times technical issues, in a timely manner
Knowledge of accounting processes
