We are looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join our client’s team and help ensure that they continue to deliver a high-quality service to their customers. It’s a great opportunity to join a growing team, with excellent opportunity for progression within the business.

The Role:

Based in Aston
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON THE DAYS/SHIFTS BELOW:
Monday to Sunday (shifts may vary)
Day Shift: 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm (£10.50 / hour day)
Evening Shift: 5pm – 1am (£11.50 / hour night)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for picking and packing customer orders, performing regular stock audits with the backend inventory system, and also assisting with incoming delivery to unload, unpack and update the inventory levels. You will also keep the warehouse area tidy to help maintain a safe operating environment.

You need to be reliable, punctual, trustworthy, hardworking and able to work as part of a team. This role may require heavy lifting from time to time, so you need to be physically fit and have good awareness of Health & Safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

Working within a team of warehouse operatives
Picking and packing orders
Refilling stock to shelves
Safely loading and unloading large and container deliveries, within allocated time
Working with fragile products and ensuring safe packing for transport
Ensuring productivity targets are met
Maintaining high standards of health & safety

Skills:

A good communicator Team player.
The ability to think on your feet and work in a fast paced, busy environment
IT literate: be able to use a computer to update orders, stock quantities and print postage labels.
