The Role:

Based in Central London as a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting clients by providing accurate and timely financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.

This role is a hybrid role with 3 days per week based in the Central London office.

Your responsibilities will include:

Financial Analysis and Advisory: Conducting comprehensive financial analysis for clients, and providing strategic financial insights and recommendations to clients to drive business growth and optimise financial performance
Budgeting, Forecasting, and Reporting: Assisting clients in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring budget adherence, and generating timely and accurate financial reports
Cloud Accounting and Technology Integration: Utilising cloud-based accounting platforms, such as Xero, QuickBooks Online, or Sage Business Cloud, to support clients in managing their financial operations efficiently
Financial Compliance and Risk Management: Staying up to date with relevant accounting regulations, standards, and tax laws to ensure clients' compliance
Conducting periodic audits and reviews to identify potential financial risks and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their financial needs

About You:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
Comfortable and competent with technical tools and Google Sheets/Excel
Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
Experience in cloud-based accounting platforms is advantageous (Xero, Sage Business Cloud, QuickBooks)
Client focused mindset with an ability to understand financial challenges and determination to provide tailored solutions
Proactive attitude to learning and staying updated with latest industry trends
Previous experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role is advantageous
