Internship Description
The successful candidate will receive £1,000 per month.
Tasks interns should expect to learn about and undertake would include:
•You will learn how to provide effective 1st and 2nd line IT and application support.
•How to gather and log information about issues in our incident tracking system.
•Effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues and coordinate resolutions.
•Learn from other developers and 3rd party support teams to identify and resolve application problems.
•Assist with software releases and provide a final point of acceptance.
•You will eventually develop an ‘expert user’ level of familiarity with our software systems.
•You will have the opportunity to suggest and implement software and process improvements.
The most suitable intern for this position would have the following:-
•A university degree in something IT related with a minimum of a 2:1.
•An interest in pursuing a career in IT.
•Work experience over the course of university – we want go getters who make things happen.
•Excellent communication skills. This role is all about been able to communicate with the business.
