Company Description

Founded 6 years ago and based in Camberley, Surrey, this young team is looking for an intern to work across two companies within the group. The first company is the UK’s leading South Asian events box office. Event organisers simply list their events on our website and we help them market and generate ticket sales through our network. The second company is a relationships service focused on Asian niches, helping single people meet their perfect partner. We run over 200 singles events across the UK each year, and operate one of the leading online relationship sites in our market.

Internship Description

You will learn how the core business works and so will be exposed to all areas across the board.

Tasks interns should expect to learn about and undertake would include:

•To update lists of events on behalf of event organisers.

•To support event organisers in co-ordinating their activity.

•To respond to customer service queries over telephone, email and live chat.

•To update and edit event listing accordingly.

•How to create brand awareness through social media on Twitter and Facebook.

•To check user registrations in the site before they go public.

•To co-ordinate our events team.

•You will learn how to prepare weekly marketing material.

•Attending meetings and occasionally taking meeting notes.

•How to process holiday forms and log employee absence and sick days.

This position would suit someone with:
