Company Description
Our client is a London-based primary research firm focused on facilitating consultations with industry specialists in Europe, helping private equity firms, hedge funds and their advisors develop insights and understand critical issues associated with investment decisions in European markets. Our client deals with some of the world's leading hedge funds, mutual funds, private equity firms and strategy consultancies. They seek out the expertise of our client to develop insights and gather critical and sometimes niche information regarding investment decisions. These firms trust our client to connect them with sources of industry knowledge while following all legal and ethical guidelines as part of a stringent compliance framework.
Internship Description
Our client will pay the successful candidate £1,100 per month.
Tasks interns should expect to learn about and undertake would include:
•You will learn how to identify and recruit potential industry specialists to help clients make insightful investment decisions.
•You will learn how to manage the communication flow with specialists, managing several research assignments at the same time across various sectors.
•The internship will also include building contacts and developing relationships with financial firms across Europe, both in person and over the phone.
•The internship will provide exposure to a wide range of industries and to the strategic issues typically faced by private equity and hedge fund investors.
•The candidate will learn how to undertake research in various sectors and gain an understanding of industry value chains in different geographies.
•This internship is a great way to gain experience in the financial investment industry.
The most suitable intern for this position would have the following:
•You should have a degree in business management, finance, economics, financial investment or business studies.
•We are looking for a confident, friendly, articulate and outgoing individual, able to build relationships, interact with industry professionals whilst promoting the company values.
•Diligent, proactive and well-organised.
You should be a team player, willing to work in high-pace and, at times, high pressure entrepreneurial environment.
Familiarity with MS Office is essential - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
•Fluency in a major European language would be a bonus.
