Our Consultants/Doctors have peace of mind that they and their patients are being looked after without concern about finance, HR, marketing & PR, legal, administration and everything else that is involved in running a business.

 

This is a 3 month internship with a view to a permanent position based in Cheadle, paying NMW

 As an Associate Practice Manager will be responsible of making sure the organisation is running well with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of clients and patients.

Key responsibilities of the role;

  • Preparing consultants’ clinics, correspondence and patient records
  • Managing telephone enquiries on the behalf of the PM if necessary
  • Ensuring accuracy for the specialists’ transcriptions
  • Supporting the Practice Managers so that their specialists is of the highest standard
  • Paying off, dealing with remittances from insurance companies ensuring payments are located against patient accounts
  • Liaising with patients for pre and cost consolation payments
  • Invoicing and debt collection
  • Issuing “shortfall” letters
  • Communicating with insurance companies to ensure payment and authorisation
  • Billing of all invoices to Insurance companies through the EDI/Healthcode system
