Our client is a start-up recruitment consultancy that has been focused primarily in the Fin-Tech sector of the technology recruitment market, having recently engaged with some of the UK’s leading digital and eCommerce brands this company is in the process of a rapid expansion.

 

This is a 3 month internship paying £1,000 per month with a view to converting to a permanent job.

How can you expect to spend your day?
You will join the team to offer support across a range of business administration duties and be responsible for market research, lead generation research and helping the business owners with administration tasks. Through this internship you will develop key commercial skills which will help develop your professional career and offer opportunity to progress within the business.  

Tasks you can expect to learn about and undertake include: 

  1. Learn how to map industries and companies to best understand how they structure the business and where their hiring needs are. 
  2. Learn how to approach and make initial contact with new clients with a view to follow up meetings face to face. 
  3. Perform market analysis reports which help feed into future business strategy. 
  4. Perform competitor analysis reports. 
  5. Offer support on marketing strategy and output. 
  6. You will attend meetings with a seasoned recruiter who will help you gain the required skills to prosper within this industry and also transferable skills to use throughout your career. 
  7. You will learn how to identify quality candidates through sourcing and researching the people who best match specifications set by clients. 
  8. The successful intern will gain valuable business development and networking experience through their contact with candidates both over the phone and in person.

Desired skills, experience and personality: 

  1. Educated to degree level. 
  2. Someone comfortable with market research activity. 
  3. Working knowledge of MS Packages such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint with a willingness to learn about industry specific Customer Management Systems (CMS). 
  4. Comfortable working in a small, open and collaborative working environment. 
  5. Ability to work well in a team environment whilst also having the drive to self-motivate and prioritise work load.  
  6. Someone motivated to earn a competitive salary.
