This company works with major UK network operators to deliver SMS, MMS and email campaigns through a managed service function. The company have an in-house web based application which enables the bureau team to deploy campaigns, this includes working with outside partners, creative agencies and data providers who provide all the other elements needed to deploy a campaign.


This is a permanent full-time position based in London, paying £24K

Key responsibilities of the role;

Our client is looking for a motivated and passionate Technical Support Engineer to provide strong desktop support for European and US offices.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Prioritising and recording all incoming IT Service Desk requests
  • Dealing with all user problems and progressing to resolution in a timely manner
  • Undertaking troubleshooting of IT related problems to include: Software related issues, new equipment roll-out, basic installation, configuration and support IT equipment
  • Ensuring all support incidents are resolved  in a timely manner
  • Using all document procedures and processes  to contribute to the knowledgebase
  • Dealing with all complaints
  • Improving customer service demonstrating a commitment to deliver excellent customer service
  • Liaising with the Infrastructure and Security team to identify and remediate vulnerabilities in production and corporate system

The ideal candidate’s personality and qualifications;

  • Excellent customer service manner both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in 1st line support is essential as well as 1-2 years’ experience working in IT support and Windows stack
  • Hardware and Software support knowledge is essential
  • Ability to use imaging Desktop, Laptops, Tablets with SCCM, WDS, Clonezilla
  • Understanding of Apple hardware, Android, Windows and tablets
  • Experience in Laptop repairs and desktop builds
  • Enthusiastic, passionate about what you do and keen to learn new technologies
