This is 6 month paid internship, offering £17K pro rata. At the beginning of the 7th month a permanent role will be offered. 

A typical day would be:

  1. The main purpose of this role is to keep up to date the Brambles Academies SharePoint sites
  2. Collaborate with the IT function and external providers to renew and update the different L&D SharePoint pages
  3. Contact the different Function SMEs across the organization to gather relevant content for each site
  4. Work closely with the rest of the team to create functional training paths
  5. Collaborate in the L&D communications plan
  6. Working with internal and external IT providers
  7. Build a strong relationship with the internal stakeholders
  8. Keep up to date the different SharePoint sites

The ideal candidate’s personality and qualifications:

  1. Ideally Qualified at Degree level 
  2. Previous experience working with Learning technologies
  3. SharePoint and yammer experience highly desirable
  4. An interest in building a Learning and development  repertoire, especially from  a global perspective
  5. A Proactive attitude

The individual must be:

  1. Highly motivated and energetic with a committed work ethic
  2. Good at building relationships and working in collaboration with others
  3. Confident and happy to take the lead where appropriate
  4. A quick learner and open to learning about the breadth of areas covered by internal and external communications
  5. Able to work for at least one semester full time and fulfil the University’s required hours
  6. Enrolment in accredited Bachelor’s Degree program or higher, and coursework in the area(s) related to the internship opportunity. A background in journalism or media studies would be very beneficial.
