This company is an outdoor marketing company who specialise in sporting events, concerts and festivals. Working with major clients such as Formula One, FIFA World Cup and Red Bull Air Race along with household brand names such as Mercedes, Nokia and 20th Century Fox they provide consultancy services to promoters of major live tours ensuring they give audiences the best entertainment experience.


This is a 3 month internship paying £1,100 with the intention to convert to a permanent job. 

How can you expect to spend your day?
You will join the business to help support the business development strategy in both developing accounts with existing clients whilst also reaching out and connecting with new clients. 

Full training will be provided. 

Tasks you can expect to undertake include: 

  1. Develop a strong understanding of the company’s products and services, learning how they add value to any large outdoor event from a both a consultancy and an infrastructure perspective. 
  2. By researching case studies and previous projects learn how the company have improved their client events.
  3. Using your knowledge of existing clients and previous projects research, identify and contact potential new clients or event organisers with a view to sending them information on how the company can help and improve the event organisation. 
  4. Attend client meetings with senior members of the team to learn how best to build and develop a working relationship, identifying areas of the client’s event that can be improved and essentially pitch to work with the potential client. 
  5. You will also work on generating sponsorship for specific events which will involve researching and contacting brands who would like to sponsor a particular event e.g. Extreme TV to sponsor a Red Bull air race. Brands of interest will typically be youth brands or FMCG.

The ideal intern’s personality and qualifications are: 
The ideal candidate for this position would be a recent graduate looking to work in either the events sector or within a business development position. 

Desired skills, experience and personality: 

  1. Educated to degree level. 
  2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  3. An entrepreneurial spirit and someone who would take an interest in developing new revenue streams for an event management business.  
  4. Due to the type of events the company deal in an interest in extreme sports would be a bonus but not a pre-requisite. 
  5. Any prior work experience in either event management or within a customer facing position would be a bonus.
