Overall responsibility

  • Preparing Tender/PQQ/RFP
  • Preparing costings and budget information
  • Carrying out research in order to establish and verify potential leads
  • Reviewing and Drafting content for Tenders and Case Studies
  • Assisting with the production of marketing materials
  • Assisting with updating of website and Social Media content

Key areas of responsibility

  • Assist with the maintenance of a client database (Salesforce)
  • Assist BDM with the drafting of CCF and budget proposals in both Regular Cleaning and client specific formats as applicable
  • Work with BDM to carry out research to identify suitable tender/prospect client opportunities
  • Writing, editing and collating content for proposal/tender/PQQ submissions
  • Carry out new contract start up procedure as required
  • Assist with producing and formatting presentations
  • Liaise with the BDM’s and operations team as required in order to ensure that prospective client visits are scheduled and carried out
  • Assist with the maintenance of Commercial Department reports and strategy documents.
  • Assist with organising marketing events
  • Assist with maintenance of company website including news stories
  • Assist with the maintenance of Social Media accounts
  • Research competitors and industry press and present ideas for new methods/innovations to the Commercial Department
  • Contribute ideas and content to the marketing plans, case studies, newsletters, good news stories and digital content
  • Draft newsletters, case studies, good news stories and other marketing materials
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions for innovations and sustainability initiatives that can form a part of our offering to clients
  • Ensure consistency within the company’s branding and marketing materials

Necessary qualifications, skills and experience

  • Strong sense of customer service
  • Organised, methodical, proactive with excellent time management skills
  • A graduate with a business or related degree
  • A high standard of maths and verbal and written English (GCSE A to C grade)
  • An exceptional level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to research, compile and collate information
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to communicate instructions, information and knowledge clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
  • Experience of producing marketing materials is advantageous
  • Experience of the cleaning industry is advantageous
  • Experience of business development and tender writing is advantageous
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office package
  • Experience of Adobe InDesign is advantageous
