This is a permanent job with a starting salary of £19,000 based in South London. 

What does your company do?

How can your intern expect to spend their day?

To support the merchandising team in order to deliver budget sales, profit margin and stock availability. To monitor and provide accurate stock, sales and profit data and analysis to ensure company range and sales planning is fully realised. 

Reporting 
•    To provide accurate and reliable weekly reporting to the business as requested. 
•    To suggest ways of improving company reporting. 
•    To analyse reporting and suggest appropriate actions. 
•    To undertake ad hoc requests for reports. 

Data maintenance 
•    Develop knowledge of GLTC and third party systems in order to optimise their use. 
•    Maintain the systems providing data accuracy, product set up and data changes. 

Planning 
•    Provide analysis for the business in time for range planning meetings. 
•    Participate in team trading meetings & ability to make suggestions
•    Critical path management on seasonal reporting process (manage deadlines in timely manner to achieve a successful season launch).

General 
•    Communicate key issues to the team and managers.
•    Build strong relationships with the buyers and merchandisers as well as with other functions and third parties in order to solve business issues e.g. marketing, warehouse etc.
•    To be proactive in identifying and solving business issues
•    Challenge and question existing practices to find new ways of doing things to ensure results are achieved.
•    Undertake ad hoc projects as requested.
•    Ensure personal development and training takes place.

•    Educated to degree level 
•    Sound numerical and analytical skills
•    Effective planning and organising skills with the ability to meet deadlines., 
•    Good oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels. 
Strong, flexible team player with the ability to work effectively cross –functionality. 
•    PC literate, strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced) and Word
•    Self-motivated
•    Team player
•    Heaps of enthusiasm.
