Our client is looking for an Information Securty Assistant to work along a busy expanding robust team. This is a permanent role based in Shoreditch and would suit a graduate who is process driven and can work to strict compliance and quality assurance in line with ISO2001.

Technical Skills Needed

  • A strong interest in Computer systems.
  • Analytical and detail driven.
  • An interest in Microsoft provided software.
  • Should be a self-starter and be able to show how you have explored their interests either through reading or basic (free) online courses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support ISMS ( information Security Management System) activities including;
  • Reviewing, updating and improving ISMS Policies, Procedures and supporting documentation
  • Support security due diligence activities, including;
    • Reviewing supplier questionnaires and analysing security control deficiencies with the support of Information Security Manager
    • Recording and chasing supplier security questionnaire completions
    • Assisting in conducting, collating and reviewing internal risk assessment on products and services consumed
  • Assist in responding to customer security questionnaires, including;
    • Maintaining, improving and organising the tools used to answer the questionnaires
  • Support the Joiners, Movers, Leavers process, including;
    • Tracking and chasing security forms and training certificates
  • Investigate ways to improve upon security awareness within the company, including but not limited to;
    • Identifying alternative information security awareness training courses
    • Raising awareness through publishing security news bulletins, articles, lessons learned and helpful tips
  • Support in the daily security operations activities within the company, including;
    • Recording and responding to incidents, events and areas for improvement
    • Respond to reports of phishing emails to targeted individuals and investigate solutions for improvement
  • Monitor SIEM dashboard, including;
    • Logging and escalating alerts generated
    • Analyse events and provide recommendations for risk mitigation
