This is a paid internship offering up to £23K pro rata during first 3 months. Followed by permanent position.

Key responsibilities of the role;

Marketing and Sales teams work together to ensure that they are constantly delivering an exceptional service to their customers from first interaction and throughout their journey with the business. The team work hard in a stimulating, varied and very customer facing environment.

  1. Working closely with sales team to generate new leads and close sales
  2. Organise and arrange customer activities, e.g. web demos, sales appointments, follow up material etc. for Field Based Sales Team
  3. Manage status of shared accounts in Salesforce
  4. Inbound prospect qualification and follow-up
  5. Update weekly tracking of all qualified leads converted to opportunities
  6. Meet KPI’s set by Head of Partnerships
  7. Proactively creating, chasing or following up leads
  8. Attain customer satisfaction and maintain positive customer relations
  9. Promote the product/business by occasionally attending conferences, seminars, training sessions, etc.
  10. Make approximately 50 phone calls per day to cold/warm leads

Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, this is a demanding role involving breaking into a new market in the UK. It requires highly motivated and ambitious individuals, who have the foresight and drive to help the company achieve its ambitious goals. Therefore telephone skills are key while confident and passionate presenting skills are a must. Ready and willing to face all the challenges and opportunities inherent in a start-up.

  1. Degree educated with strong academic record.
  2. Demonstrates sales aptitude; assertive, persistent, good listener, self-motivated
  3. Previous experience in the Financial Services Industry is desirable
  4. Excellent customer relation skills
  5. Excellent English
  6. Excellent communication skills
  7. Well organised with effective time and activity management skills
  8. Ability to manage multiple tasks
  9. Goal oriented and target-driven, able to meet and exceed goals
  10. Ability to focus on both short-term goals and long-term strategic objectives
  11. Knowledgeable in
  12. Systems literacy knowledge in MS office, Excel, Word and Internet
  13. Self-confident with the ability to work well in a fast paced environment
  14. Able to work independently as well as being part of a team
  15. Motivated to make a high volume of calls on a daily basis
