They provide material to thousands of physicians, including congress reviews, as well as breaking news, analysis and access to information of unparalleled quality. The journals span across a wide range of therapeutic areas including Neurology, Gastroenterology and Urology, with all the publications and articles freely available and accessible to our online community to read and share. The content reviews the leading congress within the therapeutic area and are supported by internationally renowned editorial board members.

 

This is a 3 month paid internship. Salary: National Minimum Wage.

How you can expect to spend your day:                               

This role is a great opportunity for a graduate who is looking to start their career. Being a fast paced company there will be exposure to several aspects of the business.

You will be trained to better understand the industry as well as establish a prominent and important position in the business. The following duties will make up your day to day, although they are not limited to the below.

  1. Office management and general reception duties
  2. Financial administration, bookkeeping, filing and data entry
  3. Keeping office records (Admin, client subscriptions) up to date
  4. Managing the company's email system and organising the company calendar
  5. Utilising and improving current CRM system and contacts database
  6. Creating documents for tracking revenue, sales templates, databases and Leadsourcing
  7. Basic IT duties
  8. Project and Congress research
  9. Close communication with both sales and client services team
  10. Report on campaign progress
  11. Pro-actively identify opportunities and problems and actively source solutions for campaigns/general issues etc

The ideal intern's personality and qualifications:

  1. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  2. Competency with Microsoft Office including intermediate Excel skills
  3. Excellent time management skills
  4. Ability to learn quickly and manage their own workload
  5. Ability to work under pressure
  6. Self-motivated, focused and interested in development
  7. Attention to detail is essential
