How you expect the candidate to spend their day:
This is an exciting opportunity to develop skills that will benefit you wherever you work in future. You will be based in the Sales and Buying departments where you will; learn to sell products and yourself, negotiation skills, about product life cycles, about domestic and international distribution channels.
Get experience in other departments, including; Marketing, IT, HR and Finance.
You will receive a structured induction and learning plan. You will not be thrown in the deep end but also given autonomy and the opportunity to make a real impact.
There will be some admin support but you will also pitch and make deals, establish relationships with clients and learn about sales or buying systems.
Language skills would be an advantage but are not essential: French, German and Dutch especially, but any additional language skills would be beneficial.

This will be a challenging but rewarding placement, perfect for an ambitious and motivated individual who wants to develop a career within sales or buying.
You will be confident and charismatic, with integrity, and a good head for figures. There are no essential qualifications. We are interested in you as an individual and candidates we feel we can support with their professional development.

There is the potential for the internship to lead to a permanent position in the Sales or Buying divisions. There would be a salary increase to 20K per annum if you were to progress into a permanent sales or buying role.

Normal office hours are 9.00am-5.30pm, but on Fridays they finish at 4pm. There is a fantastic break room with kitchen facilities, a dining area, sofas, and access to a small garden. Shortly they will be adding games, a TV and ping pong table to the break room. Offer onsite parking.
