Job role

As an Energy Consultant you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a successful business pipeline, creating new business opportunities calling and developing the sales value of existing clients.

You will, primarily, be working on the phone (Outbound Calling) so a confident and assured telephone manner is essential. You will be required to build rapport with clients, gathering information, and supporting them through choosing suitable energy products, and ultimately closing the sale.

This role would be great for an individual who is not afraid of rejection, but also looking to work in a fun, intense, fast paced sales environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • To achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales and revenue targets.
  • To achieve the target conversion rates set
  • Finding and contacting potential
  • To adhere to the sales compliance rules at all times – all sales are generated in line with our quality standards to ensure the target rejection/losses rate is not exceeded.
  • To accurately complete all customer details & sales information to the required standard. Professionally represent a leading energy consultancy.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Experience working in a B2B sales role would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
  • Knowledge of the energy is not essential as we offer a comprehensive training programme.
  • Any experience in high value consultative selling would also be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Above all we value an individual’s ability to communicate effectively and professionally to all customers, ability to work as part of a team supporting colleagues, and a natural self-starter.
