The role  
Title: Construction Administration (manager) 

Salary: Starting at £30,000 p/a upwards   

Location: Old Street, London (based in WeWork)  

Experience: Minimum 3 years in construction (commercial interiors preferable)

Responsibility: To outsource low value tasks and take on more strategic work Tasks: Assist with backtracking of company compliance tasks such as PQQs  Challenge: to outgrow your role within 12 months and recruit a replacement

Part of our strategy is efficiency through automation of mundane processes; therefore, fluent software skills are essential and further training will be required. Furthermore, you will be an integral contributor to the development of our inhouse software. 
MS Project / Asana – fluency is essential 

MS office suite experience   Outlook   MS Excel   MS Word 

Presentation preparation software(s)  MS Project or similar   Finance software Diary & task management process 

ISO experience or awareness 

Documentation writing and control 

Finance administration & payments management   

Research skills and experience – for innovations   

Creativity skills  

It is crucial that you are aware of construction processes as you will be directly involved with project administration but also contributing to efficiencies.  
O&M files Project administration POs, etc.  CPH&S Plan Cost plans and cost items  Purchasing and paying invoices  Cost plans and understanding cost items  Understanding of construction terminologies & processes  Heath & Safety knowledge   
Supporting the CEO  Managing emails and regularly scheduling priorities  

Supporting the businesses priorities through MS Project / Asana  
Some examples of tasks you will be directly responsible for: 

Note some of these processes will be automated into our software: -   • Recruit form university / Apprenticeship / Online outsourcing  • Subcontractors database & compliance  • Companies CRM  • Build up company documentation filing structure  • Finance, PQQ & Reports   • Document normalisation - ISO management review • Research & Development for innovations  • PQQ with signed /ticked statement of MP ethos • Prepare Toolbox talks using CITATION online Platform  • Preparation of Pre-construction H&S file  • Manage expenses and filing to accounts  • Payment diary management & Zero accounting management  • Site management administrative support
