Our client is a membership organisation with offices in New York, Hong Kong and London working with financial services firms in providing information and support services to assist them in implementing a responsible approach to investment. The part of the company this role is involved with provides leading training for financial services and governance issues that re impacting company performance, shareholder value or investment decision making.

 

How can you expect to spend your day? 

  1. First point of contact for delegate enquiries by phone and email
  2. Collect speaker photos and biographies, chase for outstanding biographies
  3. Ensure speakers have registered, chase those that have not
  4. Raise invoices
  5. Ensure invoices are being paid, liaise with accounts to check and chase for late payments
  6. Deal with FOC sponsor bookings
  7. Ensure delegates receive event information once registered
  8. Badging for regional events
  9. Keep Cvent updated
  10. Oversee registration desk
  11. Keep accurate records of invoices raised, credit notes, payments, non-payers etc.
  12. Pull all reports as required
  13. Responsible for event App
  14. Liaison with attendees by telephone and email in an appropriate manner
  15. Post-conference follow up
  16. SalesForce & Webinar champion for communications team
  17. Approving events on website and Dotmailer campaigns from other teams

Ideal intern’s personality and qualifications: 

  1. Prior experience of event administration including invoicing process
  2. Accurate data entry
  3. Excellent attention to detail
  4. Superb written and verbal communication skills
  5. Ability to keep calm under pressure
  6. Fluent in spoken and written English
  7. A friendly, approachable, can-do attitude
  8. Working knowledge of Cvent
  9. Business level French would be advantageous
  10. An interest in Responsible Investment
  11. Marketing experience
