A healthcare organisation responsible for the successful management and delivery of healthcare services provided to over two million people living in North West London, ensuring local residents receive high quality, modern and sustainable healthcare services.  


A motivated and enthusiastic graduate with an interest in health, psychology and/ or homelessness is sought for a new and innovative project that has recently attracted national government funding to implement a psychologically informed environments (PIE) model of care for rough sleepers in Westminster.

The post will be for a period of up to 14 months and will support with coordination and administration of a range tasks associated with implementation and delivery of the nationally funded PIE project.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support for project activities located across different settings and organizations.

  • Engage with a range of local service providers from the outset of the project to ensure compliance with project expectations.
  • Data collection will form a significant part of the role and the Project Support Officer will be expected to work with providers and the team to gather data throughout the life cycle of project.
  • Support in the development of the database & to keep the information contained within it up to date
  • Work closely with a range of services and organizations and build relationships from the outset and continue to develop these relationships for the duration of project
  • Contribute to written reports, commissioning, policy and business case documents as required
  • Meeting with stakeholders within CCGs, local authority partners and voluntary sector organisations to understand project requirements.
  • Provide project management and coordination for data, case discussion, reflective practice and ongoing learning and reflection on the pilot and system integration
  • Inputting, monitoring and checking data, required for finite and ongoing projects within the teams

Coordination of PIE Team by:

  • Preparing agendas, taking minutes and distributing notes of meetings including typing up of group discussions for meetings such as project meetings etc.
  • Acting as a point of contact for the team, dealing and responding effectively with complex queries from stakeholders and passing on relevant information to appropriate team members sensitively and autonomously
  • Managing the electronic diary for the team including arranging and changing appointments, prioritising these as appropriate
  • Taking telephone calls for the team when out of the office and expected to use their initiative to deal with phone calls and messages.
  • Ensuring all urgent and/or confidential communications are received and distributed from/to relevant parties in a timely manner.
  • Running and collating reports which may include reports to the Board and senior management as required.
  • Developing and maintaining effective electronic and paper filing systems, to ensure that information is kept securely and is accessible to other members of the team.
  • Working with administrators/PAs within the organization to provide an effective network of communication including being flexible to cover other administrators’ general duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educated to degree level or significant equivalent previous proven experience.
  • Knowledge of and enthusiasm in NHS issues and/or Local Authority business
  • Experience of policy/business writing and research.
  • Demonstrable experience in dealing with the public and dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Understanding of Confidentiality and Data Protection Act.
  • Clear communicator with excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills
  • Willingness to engage in discussions on relevant issues with team
  • Good standard of data entry and presentation skills: capable of constructing and delivering clear information/ instructions to staff and service users
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy working environment and able to multi-task
