Our client is a Property Finance is a specialist mortgage and property finance brokerage whose directors have over 30 years of experience in the industry.  We are independent brokers who specialise in various forms of property finance including bridging finance, development finance, commercial finance, specialist buy to let and private bank mortgages for high net worth clients.

 

How you can expect to spend your day:

  • To provide a professional service to the company’s existing and prospective clients
  • Contacting prospective new introducers of business with a view to pitching the company’s services
  •  To study towards and pass the CeMAP qualification (funded by Capital B)
  • Learning the company’s compliance procedures and standards to be able to write up a compliant file
  • Taking phone calls from existing clients and new enquiries
  • To follow the company’s administration processes and procedures
  • Assisting with the submission of applications to lenders
  • Chasing pipeline applications through to completion including following up with lenders, valuers and solicitors to ensure a smooth process
  • Reporting to business introducers on case pipelines and completions
 

The ideal candidate’s personality and qualifications:

  • You must be able to get to Mayfair for 9am, Monday to Friday
  • Charisma, confidence and an outgoing personality are important
  • You should be able to speak to people from all walks of life
  • Not frightened of picking up the telephone and speaking to someone for the first time
  • Able to quickly solve problems and create opportunities
  • You need to be able to get on with people well, build relationships and work as a team

Capital B is a new and expanding business, so it is expected that there will be many opportunities for progression.  This role is that of trainee so naturally there will be an initial period of training so that the successful candidate can learn all about the business whilst gaining the relevant qualifications in readiness for advising clients.  During this period, they will be expected to prospect for new introducers of business – full training on how to do this will be provided.  As the company grows there will be a need for management staff and potentially the creation of new divisions or product lines.
