This fantastic medical journal are looking for a Project Manager to join their growing Client Services team.

This person will work alongside all the departments to help manage client projects from initial booking through to publication and repeat business. Individuals will be responsible for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders on the production of articles, interviews, adverts and email campaigns. They will also work closely with the Sales and Finance departments on the booking and invoices processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage client projects from initial booking through to publication and project completion
  • Ensuring projects are all kept on schedule and under budget
  • To create and adapt project timelines to accommodate all stakeholders and be able to have contingency plans as needed
  • To meet financial objectives, prepare schedules and manage expenditures.
  • Travel Europe attending congresses and interacting with clients as part of the role
  • To maintain and develop relationships with existing customers and win over new ones.
  • To liaise with businesses via telephone and email to understand clients’ expectations and achieve 100% client satisfaction.
  • To liaise with internal departments to ensure project briefs are communicated fully and expectations are managed
  • To submit project status reports to management and stakeholders
  • To keep in contact with clients after publication to build relationships and increase repeat business
  • To keep abreast of changes to policies, processes and procedures
  • To communicate effectively with all departments
  • Look at ways to improve processes, save time and money, and add value to clients and client offering

Key Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent, relevant qualification
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills – email, phone & face-to-face
  • Comfortable building relationships and networking with anyone
  • Experience in a Client Facing / Customer Services position
  • Experience in Project Management / Coordination
  • Excellent organisational & time management skills with strong attention to detail and ability to think on your feet
  • Strong IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Able to travel as part of the role, mainly across Europe, occasionally further afield
  • Experience in Pharma / Healthcare (Highly desirable)
  • PRINCE 2, Agile, or ILX PM Training (Desirable, not essential)
