This is a paid 2 month internship initially, with the opportunity for this contract to be extended for another 3-6 months. Salary during internship: £6.70 an hour

You can expect to spend your day:

  • Administration tasks – diary management, recruitment administration, responding to simple email queries
  • Whilst the focus is to be an assistant for the HR director, there would also be an expectation to help out generally with the day to day office administration where time allowed from the HR duties.
  • They have a small administration team and staff in support roles are expected to be flexible, come to work with a “can do” attitude and be part of ensuring the work gets done by the greater team.

The ideal intern's personality and qualifications: 

  • An interest in HR 
  • Enthusiastic and detail focussed candidate with a service orientated approach,
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal,
  • A can-do attitude, team player, logical thinker with common sense.
  • Professional communicator on the phone as liaising with third party recruitment partners.
