The content reviews the leading congress within the therapeutic area and are supported by internationally renowned editorial board members.


Overview of the role: 

Due to a further phase of growth within the business, the client is looking for a proactive, driven and fully qualified finance professional who is able to control the finances of the business, and become involved in other commercial and operational
aspects as they grow.

Key responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the production of the entire month end reporting and control process
  • Producing monthly P&L and balance sheet reports
  • Managing tax returns, monthly/annual reporting and forecasts, VAT returns, corporation tax
  • Monitoring cash flow, managing aged debtors/owning the short term cash flow forecast
  • Raising, issuing and processing sales invoices, purchase invoices, and supplier payments
  • Continually assess opportunities to improve the Group’s working capital position; present appropriate recommendations to the COO/CEO for consideration
  • Working closely with our outsourced accountants, who manage book keeping and payroll

Key requirements: 

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent)
  • Able to identify opportunities to continually add value through process improvement
  • Highly analytical with the ability to make informed decisions based on the data presented
  • Excellent communication skills and evidence of building successful stakeholder relationships (internally and externally)
