Our client is passionate about using technology & physcology to solve the issue of Childcare. They source the best nannies, and automating parts of the matching process with the most innovative Artificial intelligence and block-chain technology solutions. They have been called the match.com of childcare! Their innovative company has been featured on the BBC, The Guardian and the Evening Standard.

 

This is a 3-month internship offering £20K - £23K depending on experience based in Camden. There is the potential for this role to go permanent subject to performance.

Day-to-day activities will include…

  • You will be at the heart of our business – initially, responsible for the happiness of parents and nannies, by matching them based on a variety of criteria

  • You will be interviewing potential  Nannies over video calls, ensuring they meet the company standards and following up to ensure that you have all paperwork including CVs, references and visas.

  • Most of your day will be spent communicating with parents and nannies, over the phone and email, in order to do the matching. This part of the business is critical to understand before moving on, for example into product management or growth teams.

  • You will be resolving any issues that parents and nannies have to a high customer care standard

  • At the same time, you will be thinking hard about how to improve and automate some parts of the process, and working with the rest of the team to come up with the best solutions, and then implement them

  • Like with any other startup, you’ll be expected to wear multiple hats and will be exposed to all other parts of the business

  • There are numerous opportunities to gain new skills and over time transition into one of the other parts of the business and build your career further!

  • Degree educated

  • Be a problem-solver. As we are a young company, and so many opportunities to address, we expect you to create new processes, make suggestions, and build improvements with us

  • Have great time management skills. Working in a recruitment role you will pin many plates at once, meaning excellent time management is of utmost importance, to keep your clients and candidates happy, while of course hitting your targets!

  • Be a natural competitor – maybe you’ve taken part in sports activities, or you can show us a genuine desire to progress within your career; BUT also a team player!

  • Love numbers – both as data to analyse and as targets to exceed

  • Have high attention to detail and very organised

  • Ooze confidence, we can teach you sales techniques but you need to be comfortable in picking up the phone to speak with parents and nannies

  • Be a good communicator; you’re able to write clearly, simply and accurately. Excellent English is a must!

  • Have a friendly personality
