This client employs brand strategists, creatives, directors, designers, producers and developers to create digital content that enables companies to promote their brand and build and monetise their audience. They believe that brands can no longer get in the way of culture and interrupt the things that people are interested in. Instead, brands need to be more human in their communication. They need to talk authentically about what their audience is interested in and less about themselves. This client enables companies to do just that.

They offer a bespoke service that is different depending on the brand they are promoting. They use strategy to determine what the brand needs, creativity to create the content and digital nouse to provide an individualised distribution plan.


This is a 3 month internship paying National Minimum Wage designed to lead to a permanent graduate job.

A typical day would be:

As a Publishing Executive Intern, your main focus will be the distribution content. You will be taught how to use publishing software that centralises all of content and the places it is published into one place.

Full training and support will be provided.

How you can expect to spend your day:

  1. Develop a strong understanding of content writing and content writing agency work
  2. Learn how to promote content using SEO techniques.
  3. Understand how to research into performance of the content, reporting on engagement, click through rate and conversion.
  4. Manage billings and invoices.
  5. Report on entire campaigns as well as single pieces of content and using initiative to take action on a campaign when necessary.
  6. Use the in house software to analyse the data, and create a strategy on the basis of this analysis.
  7. Liaise with clients who publish the content as well as the clients who the content is created for
  8. Develop an understanding of the tone of writing and format used to write content.
  9. Use this understanding to write proposals for clients, informing them of the content that can be created for them.

This internship is ideal for a recent graduate looking to start their career within digital media, PR or publishing.

  3. Strong organisation skills and ability to manage time effectively.
  4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  6. A commercial, enterprising mind-set.
  7. A natural interest in creating and publishing engaging online content.
  8. A strong understanding of Microsoft Excel.
  9. Good knowledge and understanding of HTML is a plus.
  10. Someone looking to develop a career in the digital media and publishing industry.
