Established in 2005, our client is an award-winning user experience design focused digital agency and a Deloitte fast 500-technology company. Our client works with both exciting start-ups and established brands like Eurofighter Typhoon and Cancer Research Technology.


This is a 3 month paid internship. Salary: National Minimum Wage.

Key responsibilities of the role:

This client is looking to hire an ambitious Digital Marketing Assistant to help them market their agency through an in-house role. This includes producing amazing content and promoting their agency through a number of channels such as website, content, events, campaigns, social media, partnerships, paid advertising and online PR. Key aspects of the role are copywriting and content creation, source partnership and events opportunities, social media promotion. Please note that this is not a client-facing role.

The role is creative and requires 'out of the box’ thinking alongside the ability to assess data (using a myriad of web and social analytic tools) to improve performance and KPIs. The role involves working with quite a technical subject, so you should be happy to 'geek out’ and talk tech with our expert UX producers, developers and designers.

How you can expect to spend your day:

  1. Organise and manage several internal events, outreach events and trade shows
  2. Manage social media channels (including creating copy, assets and engaging with communities), social campaigns and reporting
  3. Contribute to website content by writing about industry trends, case studies and company announcements
  4. Manage the company's newsletter and e-shot campaigns and help oversee their CRM
  5. Support them with creating marketing collateral and video storyboards for specific campaigns
  6. Run and implement the agency’s PPC campaigns as and when needed

The ideal intern’s personality and qualifications:

  1. Copywriting/social media experience is a must
  2. Experience using LinkedIn and Twitter for campaign management
  3. Excellent copywriting skills for content creation, social, events invitations etc.
  4. Self-starter individual with bags of creativity and confidence
  5. Passionate about digital and technology
  6. Excellent organisation and time management skills
  7. Image and video editing is an advantage
  8. You are someone who is not afraid to put in that extra bit of effort in order to ensure tasks are finished on time and events run smoothly
