Our client is looking for a SEO Manager to join their Digital Marketing team at their Head Office in Hertfordshire. You will be responsible for driving, developing and executing the natural search (SEO) marketing campaigns aligned to our customer marketing plan.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone with 2+ years direct experience with SEO - either in-house or agency. The Manager title isn't directly managing individuals, but just sitting as a subject matter expert within the Ecommerce team

Your daily responsibilities

  • Lead the Natural Search activity for the company
  • Highly knowledgeable in the latest SEO ranking factors and able to directly implement them
  • Educate the Ecommerce team and wider business on on-page and off-page SEO activity
  • Manage the in-house SEO activity (on and off page); setting objectives, completing weekly tasks, reporting and delivering effective campaigns that hit a target ROI
  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the SEO activity, including briefing, budgeting, campaign creation and reporting
  • Utilise learning’s from other channel activity (especially PPC) to maximise our SEO efforts
  • Understand impact of digital marketing across the wider business, providing recommendations for improving effectiveness, efficiency and business impact.

The ideal candidate

  • Demonstrable experience of running SEO campaigns across Ecommerce websites
  • Experience with Salesforce / Demandware
  • Strong knowledge of SEO Tools (SEMrush, Deepcrawl etc) alongside Google Analytics and Microsoft Office
  • Experience of both on-page and off-page SEO activity
  • Previous acquisition experience managing technical and marketing / PR teams
  • Comfortable with admin tasks such as monthly billing checks, reporting, raising POs etc
  • Hungry individual and absolute team player
