Our client is a data driven, delivery technology platform. They've built the next gen delivery courier service for B2B and B2C clients - including Deliveroo, HelloFresh and Net-A-Porter.

This is a permanent position based in London Bridge, paying £20-25k per annum.

The Role:

You would be a great fit for this role if you are interested in working for a fast-growing tech startup based in London Bridge. We have recently gone through a rebrand and are experiencing a very exciting period with plans for national expansion in 2020. You will be responsible for taking on and paving the direction of the marketing and PR activities for the company.

You will gain invaluable experience by working directly under the CEO, who has an established career in marketing and comms. You will take on a lot of responsibility from the off-set and will have the freedom to try and test new ideas. This role is perfect for a candidate who enjoys working independently, taking risks and is looking to explore all corners of marketing and comms.

You will be a part of a forward-thinking logistics company, looking to disrupt the space and inject some entertainment and excitement into an industry that has lacked this over the last few decades. Day-to-day activities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Planning and implementing weekly social media content
  • Social media management and engagement 
  • Keeping abreast with the latest stories in the logistics, retail, transportation and technology space
  • Weekly courier and customer email newsletters
  • Outreach to clients for brand promotions and partnerships
  • Creating compelling angles for blog content and press stories
  • Writing copy for blogs and thought leadership pieces in line with CEO’s insights and thoughts on industry topics
  • Engaging with and forming relationships with journalists
  • Communication with Digital Marketing agency and suggesting best practice
  • Writing copy for internal comms
  • Ensuring all copy is inline with company’s TOV
  • Driving positive reviews on multiple platforms
  • Researching, apply and writing copy for awards
  • Researching and registering for industry events and accelerator programs
  • Formulating and presenting ideas and strategy around marketing and PR
  • Analysing, testing and generating ideas for improvement initiatives

The ideal candidate’s skills and experience:

  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Educated to a graduate degree
  • Familiar with blogging and content management
  • Ideally you have around 1 years' experience in marketing And/Or Comms
  • Creative mindset
  • Ability to work independently
  • Appetite for risk
  • Proactive - you like a lot of responsibility and variety in your everyday
  • Self-motivated
  • A general idea of digital marketing would also help
