Key responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage relationship with digital agencies
  • Deliver creative concepts and keep evolving our digital ads while ensuring our content is channel specific
  • Deliver on multiple campaigns throughout the year, in the US and UK
  • Support the Marketing Team as a whole (UK & SA) to meet business and marketing objectives
  • Support on CRO and AB testing projects
  • Manage external relationships with service provides (e.g. Mention Me, Trust Pilot)
  • Manage the Marketing & Community Growth role in the marketing team, while working hand in hand with film and design
  • Support campaign-related changes to our website
  • Support senior management with marketing and business development

The ideal candidate

You have a growth mindset and are used to getting the most out of budgets, in multiple markets. You have experience at helping start-ups in a rapid growth phase become profitable and predictable. You’re analytical and take pride in rock solid reporting. Here are some of the tools of your trade:

  • Agency experience, either in-house or working together in a B2C role
  • Facebook Ads Manager, Google Adwords, Google Analytics
  • CRM system-use (HubSpot advantageous)
  • Salesforce (nice to have)
  • Project/campaign management skills
  • Handy at copywriting, with an eye for detail
  • Results focused - every quarter matters
  • Good communicator - a third of the team lives in Johannesburg
  • Responsive with excellent time management
  • A go getter who wants to be ‘in the mix’
  • A believer in health, fitness and nutrition
