Our client share a passion for building a world in which every teacher uses apps in the classroom to transform learning for students everywhere. Their goal is to bridge the gap between technology and the classroom.   Their talented and enthusiastic team are building and scaling a deep technology platform for education apps. They call their dashboards a ‘virtual teaching assistant’, letting the teacher know exactly who needs help and what they need help with. 

You’ll be joining the company at a pivotal point in their growth. They have recently raised a new £1.5m funding round. They have teachers and clients in 120 countries who love their products and are seeing meaningful results with their students. Most importantly, they have a constantly evolving product roadmap which they believe will change the future of education forever.  
You will be playing  a large part in the company growth, and have chance to shape it's direction!  


This is a 6 month internship role offering £20 - £25K plus commission depending on experience, with a potential to go permanent all things being well.
Day-to-day activities will include...
You will play a large part in the company growth
  • Engaging with teachers worldwide, who have signed up for a free account to the company platform
  • Providing excellent customer service to new customers ensuring they have a positive experience
  • Presenting and conducting demonstrations of the company products and services
  • Converting 10% of teachers to a paid subscription
  • Reaching out to a minimum of 40 teachers a day via the phone
  • Convert 10% of potential customers to paid subscriptions
  • Providing product and service information to customers
  • Handling product related doubts, concerns and complaints 
 The ideal candidate’s personality and qualifications...
  • 6 months sales experience (door to door, telesales NOT retail)
  • Exceptional communication and people skills 
  • Able to build rapport and trust quickly
  • Keen to build a career in sales
  • Great telephone manner
  • Ability to deliver against quality and quantity KPIs
  • Bags of initiative and a self starting attitude 
  • Flexible and adaptable to working in a changing start up environment
  • Team player
  • Happy to work 12 til 9 pm to manage the American markets during USA term times, and early finish on Fridays at 630pm during term time
