As a Product Development Assistant you will be involved in all aspects of bringing a product/category to market - from the initial concept right through to product launch. Ensuring that all products (new, existing and reskinned) deliver against the Clients standards & values and that innovation & newness reflects customer needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to become part of a small and close-knit team where the variety of work will keep you challenged. The role is perfect if you are looking at a career in Product Development, Buying or Category Management. You will get full training and support by a highly experienced team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing sample process and approval with QA & Design
  • Working and adhering to the product development critical path
  • Photo shoot briefing and attendance for packaging and on-line assets
  • Supporting the PD team on creative copy for packaging and on line
  • Pulling together product strategies documents and researching the market
  • Maintaining the showroom standards
  • Working with marketing & sales on presentations and samples
  • Setting up Product Development Review documents
  • Regular communication and follow up with the Far East Sourcing team
  • Regular store visits to look at new product opportunities

Desired experience:

  • Experience using Excel and other IT software.
  • Knowledge of V look ups and Pivot Tables is an advantage.
  • Experience of working under pressure with the ability to remain calm.
  • A clear confident communicator both written and verbally.
