The role supports the various teams within Scheduling team by creating visibility of data and creating supportive instruments, such as tools and regular reports. This includes information derived from schedule scenarios, but also from slot management and output from optimisation tools. The role also interacts closely with other stakeholders in the company's data community.


  • Develops and maintains dashboards to be used by the Scheduling team as central information tool. This includes information derived from existing data sources, but also the introduction of new data-sources.
  • Collects, validates and processes data from various sources to enable further data modelling.
  • Develops and documents proof of concepts for tools as required by the Scheduling teams. Liaises with stakeholders in the development process and maintains the proof of concept tools until the tools are placed into production by the central data team.
  • Creates and maintains automated standard reports in close cooperation with stakeholders.
  • Works closely with the Senior Schedule Analyst to create data visibility, including cleaning of data and establishing dashboard.
  • Supports both the Schedule System Manager and the Senior Schedule analyst to manage data input and output into the scheduling systems. This includes data curation.
  • Participates in the implementation of new systems by curating relevant data and participating in the User Acceptance Tests.

  • Educated to degree level
  • Experience in defining and managing databases and conceptualisation of data-driven tools
  • Knowledge of visualisation tools / dashboard. Knowledge of Tableau of advantage.
  • Experience in an airline operations or scheduling environment of advantage.
  • Detailed knowledge of MS-Office products including Excel, Powerpoint.
  • SQL-affluent, knowledge in Tableau of advantage.
